A Lot About You:
The Ad Marketplace Partnerships (AMP) team are the advertising supply and data experts on our industry leading advertising platform. We work with publisher technology platforms to deliver a best in class experience and return on investment for our advertisers. As an Intern, you’ll be partnering closely with AMP to organize data and insights, and balance partner needs with company initiatives around online advertising and technology.
Our team at Yahoo is seeking an ambitious, team-oriented summer intern to assist and lead key projects to help grow our ad business and develop professional skills. Ample training will be provided as lots of systems are unique to Yahoo.
Your Day / Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to the AMP team
- Input and simplify data using Excel or Google Sheets to manage discrepancy tracking
- Work closely with analysts, advertisers, and business development teams to create an actionable strategy for clients to help improve business goals
- Analyze reports on a daily basis, proactively reviewing performance metrics to balance profitability and exceed revenue objectives
- Communicate internally and externally with partners via various tools (Slack, email, video call, etc) using online advertising language and concepts
- Read and comprehend technical specs and documentation
- Assist with ad hoc projects and requests (i.e. work with clients who are transitioning among our different technologies and draft FAQs to be shared among the team)
- Achieve results with minimal supervision while effectively working as part of a team

Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Moderate to advanced Excel and skills to help perform basic inventory analysis
- High degree of comfort with Google Workspace (calendar, sheets, mail, slides, drive, etc)
- Quick learner on new software and user interfaces
- Ability to maintain own work-flow and meet deadlines
- Capable of juggling, prioritizing and resolving several high impact issues at once
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Proven to be flexible and adaptable to change
- Creative problem solving abilities
- Proven proactive and innovative thinking skills
- Demonstrate ability to develop relationships through exceptional service and face to face interaction
